Ill happily take it off youre hands . Id love to repair this laser head i have

Alien, it would be better to sell to him, he has one that needs repair. It also benefits me, I really don't want to part with the YAG rods I'm getting that he asked me about that I was going to share.

Is that 30-40w of 946nm. If it is then that is super impressive. If you got 5% efficiency then you could see 1.5-2w of 473.

Look at this new higher efficiency BiBO crystal, 63%. Take that 40W figure x 5% x .63 and you get over 2.5 watts. Only problem is they want too much for the crystal, that other seller quoted me over 1600 dollars, forget that. Although I'm just dreaming, won't be able to find this crystal cheap enough anywhere. Better to find a LBO crystal cheap but they are hydroscopic, have to be sealed from moisture.

BiBO is inert to moisture, I meant it would be cheaper to use a LBO crystal, but an LBO needs to be sealed from moisture, unfortunately.
