LED to RGB LED Mouse Mod Wiring?

Righto, got the mouse today and the red LED is for the actual tracking part that shows under the mouse... What they have done is left it exposed so that the bottom end of the mouse lights up red...

However there is a single blue LED at the top end of the mouse lighting up the top end and the scroll wheel.

Im taking it apart now to find out the voltage on the LED.

Edit: the blue LED is 3.4V... time to get looking.

Good thread. I'm going to do this for my wife's computer to match her color changing keyboard.

It's quite an easy mod really, if my wifi card wasnt already the same colour as all the buttons on my laptop I would be changing them as well.

Still searching for a reasonable price for the LEDs at the moment... almost had one for free.

LED arrived today and just swapped the LEDs over! I think it looks awesome, especially in a dark room :D
