Leadlight help

Hey all, I bought some broken leadlights and well i want to unbroken them

The problem is the battery caps don't screw on...i am trying to make mini leadlights. So i have cut them to the right size for a 10440 battery but the battery cap doesn't work as there's no thread in the leadlight. So basically i am asking if there's a tool to make the thread in the leadlight?

It is called a tap, you would need to know what the thread is to get the right one though.

take the cap to the hardware store with you or see if a friend has one and just go to their house. if you have a micromter you can measure it.
