could you get back to me soon. thankyou Drlava i'm looking forward to using some of your drivers

spaceman :)

Re: Lava Micro FlexDrive Driver (lavadrive2) fits

Dr. Lava is there a max input current that the flexdrive can handle? i have a 3.7 2400mAh battery running my 6x blu-ray build in a kryton 2 groove. Ive already burned out one driver. At first i thought the diode may have died but it was the driver.

Any word on max input current?

Re: Lava Micro FlexDrive Driver (lavadrive2) fits

EDIT:
So, I wan't to buy three of your drivers. When do you think they will be available?

Re: Lava Micro FlexDrive Driver (lavadrive2) fits

Dr.Lava.. please read your PM and/or e-mail from me. Been waiting for a while.. just would like a heads up on things.

Re: Lava Micro FlexDrive Driver (lavadrive2) fits

Re: Lava Micro FlexDrive Driver (lavadrive2) fits

Hi, thanks for the PMs, I replied to a bunch tonight. The drivers should arrive to me in under 14 days and I will ship them out asap. Your cards have not been charged yet for the orders that are pending the new drivers.
There is not input current limitation, it is related to the output current and those ranges are published in the manual on the site.

I know how hard it is to wait to build a laser, but it will be worth it :)
In the mean time, make sure you understand the max current you have chosen for your diode and read about the expected lifetime on the forum!

Re: Lava Micro FlexDrive Driver (lavadrive2) fits

Can I place and order and wait until you get a delivery? Or should i wait with that until you know you have them?

At least you don't have a diy laser in front of you that is all ready to go but needs a driver...

Re: Lava Micro FlexDrive Driver (lavadrive2) fits

No :p
But I intend to order all the other components very soon and cross my fingers so that the Flexdrive becomes available. aaaarrrrgrgg I am going crazy! This is gonna be so much fun and I will learn so much and it will be really COOOL!

Re: Lava Micro FlexDrive Driver (lavadrive2) fits

Sorry to intrude on this thread but I sent PM but receives no reply yet....

About 1 month ago, I ordered 2 sets of Groovy drivers; till today, I have receive no confirmation whether the order is registered, processed or shipped. I need some updates to know if they are actually arriving; if not, I will build my own using LM-317; although not as good as groovy.

Please, please, please, please, Dr. Lava, what is the status of my order?

Many thanks!

Re: Lava Micro FlexDrive Driver (lavadrive2) fits
