laserwave's gif lags slow computers

I hate to say it against a sponsor, but that giant gif just isn't efficient enough, tell them to try a flash, to to narrow it down smaller, it lags evey computer i use at work and school.

I don't even notice it on any computer less than a year old, but i'm sure there are a lot of people here that don't buy new computers every year, like myself.

Just an idea.

I have no problems with it here and the icestorm server seems to be a lot better than godaddy too...

pretty much any GIFs will lag an older computer, it doesn't really hinder browsing that much

We are talking about the top gif? That changes frames at about 1f/s? Dunno if it is supposed to be that way...
Anyways, what annoys me even more is that with regulagr gifs, pressing "esc" will stop the animation. But not so with those really annoying, frustration-generating ads. *argh*.

Anyways, ABP is the best and works 100%, but doesn't exist for Opera...
