LASERS (& LEDs) On RC Aircraft

We have a new member from TX-- Charles sent me some of his pics-wow

Cost is for this hobby has dropped but by no means a cheap one..

Charles is working on a DIY Octo--copter-- and has plans for several on-board lasers--

He has a green pointer on that heli- than makes a 'landing circle' on the ground below --kewl!!

Is it just me or does his heli look like one of the deep water fishes that lights up?
like a stone fish or angler fish- but freakier?

I dont think it looked much like this when new-

There were several quads at SELEM 2013- and more are coming this year (mid Aug) all have cameras on them as well as some LEDs and we will see vids of the laser shows from these

Would love to see some video of this! I have some led strip on my quad but that's just to see orientation in the air at night.

Very cool pic's I am lucky since I have nothing to do with these but I have seen these in person before and they are a real sight to see
for sure, it's amazing how they put the LED lights and even EL wire every where even the tips of the blades have LED's in them
