I used to get that all the time. Never did find a way around it on the laserchat.org site. I found though that if you go to the mibbit.com and enter laserchat there it will not happen. Either that or download an IRC client.

I asked on there.

Someone stated ...
Thats because this server isnt setup properly for mibbit
It's got nothing to do with his computer or IP
He could try a different server instead of laser
Try unlogical.irc.ecnet.org
Or psuedo-servers.irc.ecnet.org
or noodle.irc.ecnet.org

I have no clue what that means.. I typed thoes in to the search bar and the adress bar..nothing...

I am working on configuring all the servers to work properly with mibbit, but until then, you can try this.

Go to Mibbit.com Webchat client

mibbit.png

Wait for it to load, and you should see a box as shown in the above pic. Click the link in that box that says "Server"

In server address, you can try a few different servers if 1 doesn't work. Try:
laser.irc.ecnet.org
psuedo-servers.irc.ecnet.org
unlogical.irc.ecnet.org
noodle.irc.ecnet.org

In nick, put your nick, obviously, and channel #laserchat

If that doesn't work, you may need to download an IRC client such as mIRC or xchat.

Still nothing, I downloaded mIRC but it had nothing to do with the laserchat thing, and did nothing at all :( I have no clue how to do this crap ;(

Neither do I man. Why don't you do a virus scan on your pc. Maybe something is staying logged onto the internet browser

Open mIRC, and go to Tools -> Options

On the tree on the left, click "Connect", and fill in those details
Then again on the tree, click "Servers"
Click "Add"

For description, put "laserchat"
For IRC server, put: laser.irc.ecnet.org
For group, put : laserchat
Ignore the rest, and click "Add"

Then in the tree again, click "options", then click "perform"

Check "Enable perform on connect", then click "add"

Find laserchat in that list, then click OK.

Now, in that white box under the add button, type: /join #laserchat

Click OK on that window, click OK on the options window, then up in the top left, there should be a little red icon. Click that to connect, and you should automatically join the channel.
