Long story short I'm working on a project and needed it in a timely manor. We had some miss communication it seems too. Instead of praising this company so much on this forum it would of been nice to know they don't have the fastest shipping. I didn't see anywhere they were made to order or I would of expected it.

Laserbtb and lost shipment

Why didn't you simply check out people's reviews of their laserbtb lasers are the time it took to get to them? The one and only time I ordered a laser from laserbtb I chose the "Airmail" option during checkout and was notified it would take 10-14 days. Amazingly, 5 days later the laser was in my mailbox!!! Pretty fast for Airmail coming from China in my opinion.

Go back and read the entire thread. Based on my "limited" experience with Laserbtb......customer service paled in comparison to Jet Lasers.
And that's all I'm saying. Compared to these other companies I just delt with laserbtb has some work to do. People need to get of their $&!@ already and stop leading ppl astray. Problems of are solved by working on them not covering them up. I'm sure their product will be great like everyone keeps saying.

I would give Laserbtb another chance....because my problem (never receiving package) was resolved in the end. The quality of customer service is best judged on how they handle problems. The lack of timely communication, and perhaps language/cultural differences was a big issue

We are trying to expedite our prototyping process. We design various things for large companies. Hopefully I get to keep what we don't end up using.
DTR, Survival laser and Warnlaser all shipped in 2 days. We needed some portable visible lasers for ease of initial setup. Laserbtb was first ordered and still hasn't arrived. We don't even need it now if I end up having to keep it maybe someone on here will buy it. Hopefully they will return my money. I don't want to go any deeper into that tho. Maybe they will work out for someone else that can allow for 2-3 weeks when you pay for express 3-5 day.
I was hoping to review them all before but our customer is getting pushy and they are already being modified for our needs. I'll make my own thread when I get time. Enough of hijacking someone else's topic.

Jetlasers! 5 days from placing order to my doorstep in USA!!!
Laserbtb, and SfLasers (the two I have used) appear to get the money first before they order parts. Jetlasers has the lasers ready to ship.

Laserbtb also has lasers in stock.. Although i must confess that laserbtb is not the fastest company in the world communication wise, i know all issues or problems will be sorted out eventually.
Fact of the mather is, that every issue i saw the past three years with laserbtb got resolved. Maybe not in one day but pretty fast imho. There will allways be companies that can do better. Every company has it's strong and weak parts.
That is why i still help them with GB's etc. If they start to neckleck customers and get a bad reputation i will not support them anymore.

According to them they do not stock lasers. Every single one is "custom" built. I don't think they know what custom means but whatever. Great companies like survival laser go as far to post if there might be shipping delays before it happens. Laserbtb should say out of stock on all their products (I don't buy out of stock products). I don't buy a diode from DTR and wait for it to be manufactured. If they wait over a week to ship something your $40 express shipping means nothing. Supposedly they shipped this 3 or 4 days ago and DHL just processed they received the item today and paypal just notified me at the same time it shipped. Now it could be a glitch but sounds like I'm being mislead.
Oh well it makes no difference now. I don't need the item anymore for work. Hopefully it's really cool...
