I don't really know how to tell you this, but it just doesn't happen, it's a fact. From the "sun laser" thread:
The great thing about SLR's is, if the camera isn't taking a picture, the beam goes right through the lens and out the eyepiece.
Sun light is not coherent. It simple can not be turn into a laser like
that. We've been through this before.

I've burnt three compact cameras this way, so with your ultra-cool DSLR you should be extremely careful when pointing a laser anywhere in the camera direction. In case of shooting a laser dot, your camera is quite safe I think, however I would not take a macro pic of a 400mW laser's dot on a white surface
