Hi im new with lasers, i own 2-3, and was wondering if someone can point out where laser parts can be found. Cd/dvd drivers are quite obvious, scanners i think might have diodes in as well. If someone can grow the list it would be wonderful.

Thx, but anyway il ask one by one.

I have broken microwaves, VHS players, scanner/printer, TVs anyone know of anything laser-useful they have inside?

Do you know anything about high voltage safety if not [highlight]do not open up the microwave[/highlight] even if it isn't plugged in.

I think the microwave is relatively safe, it is the CRT or the CRT TV that you do not want to open and touch ;D

I know basic stuff, otherwise i would be opening stuff up.

Its the TV that might sting you a bit, even if its not in power. Its no big deal tho.

Anyone know where blue diodes are used?

READ THE FORUM STICKIES in the Tutorial forum. Man, do new people EVER read the guides? I guess the ones that do don't post messages about such things.
