Laser lighter problems

They are a bit long. Imo. And there are a lotta dicks here, you just gotta ignore them. Keep out of the drama that people here thrive off.
 





I have got to say, you have a very calm reaction to the news about your eye damage.
If I were in your position, I would be furious at Kip and probably highly self destructive/borderline suicidal.
I REALLY treasure my eyesight, that is why I haven't gotten lasik yet to correct the mild visual imperfection I do have.

from what I'm reading, he seems to be a logical guy... and really, ranting and raving on a internet forum doesn't accomplish much.

Hope your eyesight improves from the obvious injury that you received. It is very rare to have severe damage, so we have our fingers that you have a milder form. There are nutrients for the eye that can help with healing. Did you go to an optometrist or an ophthalmologist? An ophthalmologist has extended medical training. Good luck!
 
Take a look at this: Damaged eyes? - CandlePowerForums Some guy there posted info about some vitamins and such that can help eye recovery.
From my experience even if your sight seems to be getting only worse don't panic! There will be a peak time when your sight is at its worst but after that it should start getting better and there's alot of stuff you can do to speed up that recovery :)
 
Well the vision in my right eye hasn't improved, but it hasn't gotten all that much worse either. I have 20/80 vision in my right eye, and it's having a little trouble seeing green too for some strange reason.

I got home from the optometrist today and here's the papers the doctor xeroxed me when I asked. I had to sit on them when I rode my motorcycle home, so sorry they are all crinkly. I don't have a scanner so I had to take pictures. I hope that's not a problem either.

I'll take your guys' advice on vitamins, but honestly I don't see it helping me any. The doctor also gave me some kind of drops to put in my eye. Maybe that'll do something.

Howdy Max I am truly sorry to hear you have damaged your eye with the lighter and hope it fully recovers with time !
This is a very good thread to post as it may detour some other unsuspecting people from making the same mistake.
