Laser in the snow

oh dear shining a powerful laser over and very near what seems a busy road - great idea!!!

Buddy, if you're gonna be firing lasers, at least do it well away from cars and planes... Imagine if you managed to flashblind someone...

Cool vid but I have to agree with everyone here, you didn't really take any precautions at all there... It's so easy to get distracted when driving and the one thing I always make sure never to do is point it at other peoples windows. I am guilty of pointing them at other peopled roofs but that wont cause any physical damage to anyone.

I don't know what kind of power that was, just be careful mate.

Sorry I didn't think about that. I just got excited with the snow, and the laser. :-[

Cool video.
Good to see you have enough sense to turn it off while cars go by.

I'm sure you don't need the "OMG you IDIOT!" lecture

;)

Relax, everyone.
I'm sure no harm was done or intended...

Thanks. :)

i dont think anyone said OMG idiot! did they?

we are just saying using a laser that close to a road is a bad idea. sure the guy with the laser may be very careful but all it takes is one stupid person to moan and go to the police and it could cause all kinds of problems.

Of course... but things like this easily get blown out of proportion.
If there is no problem, all that needs be said is "be more careful next time."

He was excited, that's all.

Before this becomes a "heated debate" on laser safety, we should all just go back to marveling at the snowy laser video.

I don't think anyone intended it to remotely sound like that, just meerly a friendly pointer.

I remember last time it was snowing here, I was outside with my greenie instantly only to find the batteries died 5 mins later haha.

Rage! ;D :D ;D :D ;D

I saw what you did there... :-X

I'm sure, since it was red, that no driver saw the beam with their head lights on and consentrating on the road, if it was green it would be a different story.

Much ballz to post that video here! ;D

Wouldn't the beamshots be nicer in a darker area?

ok, I'll stop. Just be careful. ;)
