There is no doubt that I could redesign the original schematic posted by dr. lava in a different form very similair to blue's.  I've considered it even being pre-assembled as an option.  However doing so bumps up the cost to over $12 per board.  Now I've planned for somewhere in the vascinity of $6 for board and components and folks assemble themselves.  I've made these by myself and it's not difficult at all.  a total of 8 components.  My idea was to not have to stock lots of electrical components for replacement of dead drivers.  Eh.  I don't see a way around it I suppose.  If we do pre-assembled drivers it will bump up the cost another $6

As it sits now, with the financier taking a small cut of my meager profits to get this run done now, that doesn't leave me with any playing room so that cost needs to be passed on to the customer.  I think that $50 is high enough for these barrels.  I can't see increasing the cost much.

I don't know.  I'm just rambling.  Let me hear your thoughts.

Does this mean the lavadrives wont be prebuilt on arrival? or is that only the basic driver that will come in kits.

Do you want fries with your order ? LOL ! There are a TON of options in this GB - one of the most complex and WORTH it GB's I have seen :) Lotsa work on your part, Kenom for minimal return - keep it up, you'll be broker than me, with tons of happy people ! :P Love this GB - I will prolly jump back in for more at the last moment :)

ok. I'll get to it in a few hours I tried my hand at editing the doggon thing myself and obviously didn't do it right. so I'll have to change it. boy this html is harder than it looks.

Yes the lava drives are completely setup when you get them. You'll just need to tweak it to the specific output you want in the ranges specified and you'll be set.

lol, ;D yea and the last Kryton Barrel GB was also very well thought out and I was more than completely satisfied with it.  :)

I just fixed Kenom's payment page, the prices should be running properly again.

I keep having to buy more stuff that I want with the laser housing. And so I spend more money. (My fault of course) ;D

I started reading that and was getting defensive until I found out why! LOL. I'm not gonna lie and say this isnt' a comprehensive and as such expensive GB.

Well, the order was placed with the manufacturer and sadly they are so busy making other items it won't be until june before they can start these. I'm a bit dissapointed that it's going to take this long, but we are in the queue, so at least we got the order in now, and will be up sooner than if we added the order in june.

Kenom -- thanks for putting this package together -- I guess with 3 weeks production time, we might be looking around the end of June for delivery?

Yeah like tomato says, sadly once the barrels are done being run, they then need to be shipped off to the anodizer and prepared and anodized. Since we've not done this yet with the barrels I don't know how long that's going to take. There is no doubt that since the order has been placed now instead of weeks or months from now that things will progress faster. I've no clue how long this is going to take TBH
