I was bored the other day, and was having too much fun in Creo and have created a monster:











Prices are likely to be $30ea. Will likely be making a few of them for 501B kits when I start selling them.

Thoughts?

If anyone is interested in these, let me know, but be warned, these are going to be costly to machine... Lots of milling, and the rotary table will need to be tilted 45 degrees to do it right.

Should be able to. What I have drawn is 1" diameter. It will be more expensive than most of my other knobs though.

Well for just one of them, it's going to be ~$40-$60 depending on size, and that's because of the amount of machining and setup time involved. If we can do a group buy of sorts for them, then I can definitely get them down close to ~$25-$35 depending on size. Not sure if I can get them much lower unfortunately.

Do you guys want the ones with the holes or the ones without? Also, should it have that shoulder on the end of it, or just be a straight cone shape?

EDIT: IMO you should keep it the exact same as the second drawings

Personally, I dig the ones without the holes...This might even really dress up all those Krytons out there!

Im not going to buy one (i dont have the money). It was just my opinion :)

EDIT: On second thought, i wouldn't mind either one. Depends on what i would be building.
