yea thats why i had to use the foam to hold it up, the beams were hitting the floor, the scanning angle is massive!!! make sure you get plenty of pics behind the cover, i don't want to open mine up yet 8-) but looking through the hole where the laser comes through, there appears to be a good green module, very well heatsinked, and i can't really see the red module, so get plenty of pics, i want to see what's inside this thing! one question, does yours make very much noise? the top panel seems to rattle a bit on mine?

I can certainly recommend these units. For the price, the quality of beam and workmanship is second to none.

I would love a scanning laser, but I have a hard enough time justifying switching this little thing on to the missus ;D

For now though, the ever changing animations reflected from burning material will do me. I've watched the video I posted about a hundred times already!
