Got my tap, tapped it out, a bit of metal shavings came out as i approached halfway, went all the way (gigity) and shes all good, lens threads in nicely!

i believe this was a known problem with some , original Kryton grooves, they were not tapped all the way down.

Interesting.... I got one on hand which is great with a regular aixiz... will test with a a g1 tomorrow.

I have a groove that isn't tapped all the way (I think) and thus the g1 wont screw in all the way to reach the focal point. Hope yours isn't like mine =D
