So we are practicing thesis statements in Rhetoric today.

Describe the ideals, uses, and motives of Propaganda in KipKay's Giveaway.

So I thought after watching this, I knew that he is just copy-pasting the ideas from WL right onto this video. The only difference is that he narrates the text... and he mentions safety. He also says for verbatim "intergalactic range"... right. nearest galaxy... 85 miles is nothing. Probably using the 1W, but typ. operation 60 miles.

Opinion, more like another Advertisement than a Review... although it is not specified.

Once again, I want to see only your THOUGHTS about Kipkay's appeal to pathos and ethos. Lets not discuss too much about each others comments. Rather, it should be a PEACEful reply. If not, it would result in yet another flame war. :whistle:

Your Thread WILL no doubt create Flames for at least 2 reasons...

1) you are on the Subject of a clueless Laser "expert"

2) telling the community not to discuss anything posted here

There are a lot of Threads/Post dicussing what this Laser community
thinks of the Kipper...

Well, if you are really looking for info and what happens (as well as additude towards kipster) from these give aways, simply search the forum for the last give away he did with the arctics.

Same shit, different laser.

In logical terms, I think he would garner more money than the cost of the three lasers hes putting up. Probably wants more teenage attention. I already know the intense hatred of kipkay, I've posted on some of the threads relating to him... but I'd like to know opinions on the delivery of this video.

To most people's relief, the arctics were given to 2 recipients >18 years of age.
 
i hate him. "its the first and ONLY laser that can shoot into outspace" (i know i quoted it wrong, i just dont wanna watch it again :p )
 
Sometimes I wonder who in thier right mind would even belive such statements?

(Give a show and tell to NASA with the krapton, see just how much they laugh at you.)

Gotta give it to him though. While no noteworthy laser achivements had been made there, at least we can be proud on behalf of kip that he probably holds the record for most bullshit spewn in a single video session.
 
I couldn't listen to the whole video... I swear my headache literally ramped up as he went on and on. He did mention laser safety... thankfully.

He is greatly more interested by money than most anything else. His actions, personality, videos and narration can be almost summed up as a predictable anecdote... sometimes as a mathematical equation.

There's no soul in this video, its only an empty shell of money. It proves no more than a pervasive propaganda in favor of Wicked Lasers.

I like intelligent discussions.
