Well, way to go Kipkay. Could have actually done things right this time, but as usual skimped on a few details and gave poor direction to those who have no idea what they are doing.
The driver? Sure it works, but the peak current isn't limited and if someone turns that pot to max they'll end up popping their diode with over 1A (that's >1000mA) of current! He obviously has no idea how that circuit works because the 1 ohm resistor on the output is useless and will only serve to increase the input voltage requirements of the (already inefficient) IC.
