I’ve noticed that there has been many posts lately completely off topic, like this one: http://www.laserpointerforums.com/forums/YaBB.pl?num=1206394336 I guess this is considered “spaming”.

And there’s this thread: http://www.laserpointerforums.com/forums/YaBB.pl?num=1206361389  (which I totally agree with) I know there are the general rules, which are extremely relevant and necessary.  But perhaps there should be a quick questioner that sort of tests the basic intentions and intelligence of a potential member before allowing anybody to join and post what ever the F they want. It’s not funny or cute to me anymore and is actually getting a little old.

What we really need are some freaking moderators. There are none and it really shows. Like the guy who said this little gem in a thread earlier:

"Ya its a forum, im happy to see you can establish that. He was showing a laser, NOT HIS FAVORITE BAND. And quickly enough you jump on music. He obviously enjoys it, and I dont think he cares if it meets your lame niglet approval."

sure, there are spam comments, but everyone can identify them quickly and bash the poster, then go back to the topic..

Any chance we can have a thread nominating new mods, and then make a poll to vote in the new mods?

Limited Liability Company. styropyro, we have a few mods in mind. Once c0ld gets the thumbs up, we will start a poll with the possible moderators.
