Hi,
I was looking through some posts this morning and the adapter that comes with the Jet laser BE caught my eye. I have purchased aJet laser BE and Sinner Cypreus 2 with his custom adapter for the BE. So while i was looking i seen that maybe a m9x0.5 focus knob would press fit into the adapter that i did't need.
Well i gave it a shot and it worked great. Here are some pics of a early morning mod..

Rich:)

^ I second that. :gj: Your laser has a sticker that says 18000 MW  I think that is a misprint, if not then don't point that thing in the sky, you might accidentally blow up a sattelite or something.

Hi,
Thank you Bowtie i didn't know what to do with the adapter ,it was sitting in the parts draw for about a year now. So i took a shot at fitting the focus knob and it pressed in easy.Might buy a few more BE's at 10x i'll try it on one of my NUBM44's.. The Sinner host has a 465nm 07E in it..

Hi PI,
Thank you also means a lot buddy, Thats a PLTB450B diode in there set at 1.8A. I had quite a few reach over 2+w's .and the heat sink from the Sky Ray does a great job cooling it..

Can you tell me please, where is the lens, which had the laser pointer, before you put the BE ?Are you keep this,or you forget it and put the BE direct to the laser pointer, instead?
I write, because I try to assemble a Sci-Fi laser with a sanwu BE,but I can't.I try to upload some photographs of the parts, hoping that some of you,who know well all about these, help me finish the job.

Hi T 41,
The lens is focused first in the heat sink this will stay at this focus point without the BE installed. Then you install the BE and focus from the BE and letting the lens stay in that position. Hope this helps buddy

Thank you for helping firstly.
So,I have to buy a lens from Pod,to screw it into the copper heatsink,as the original lens,is glued on the front moving cap.In this case, which of the Podo's lenses you suggest to buy?
Edit.
There is a small spring, between the lens and the heatsink. What should I do it after I change lens?
