Sorry to hear you had a stroke. Last time I was in the hospital they diagnosed me with atrial fibrillation and wanted to put me on the latest blood thinner just because they do that to everyone. I refused as I still have an inferior vena cava filter stuck in place that won't come out. They tried a few years ago and it's stuck. Even though these have filled with blood clots in some, mine is total clear and IMO should have never been put in at all.
