item status not update on USPS

hi guys
the title say it all.
i recently purchased a host from Ehgemus.
he shipped it.
the host arrived at the sort facility.
the status of the item never update since.
tried to contact USPS, no one answer the phone.
so what do you guys think happens to the package?

I'd try to call again. If you haven't already, try some of the numbers listed on their site. I've had tracking not show anything for 2 days and then suddenly populated with multiple entries, as if it was being scanned but site never updated.

When did you buy it? Was the last status in Chicago? If so it has left the US. You can also sometimes get better info on auspost about the item.:beer:

If it's an international label you probably won't receive any update once it reaches the final sort facility before it leaves the country.
It MIGHT show up on your country's postal service tracking once it enters your country (it does sometimes in the US anyways...)
Most international packages are delivered between 10-14 days of being shipped.

It either means its lost or the post office is being a/an (obscenity of choice here). Ive had both happen after that.

Never know. Could just be held up in customs.
It wont update after it leave the country. As far as USPS tracking, everything is normal.

The fact that 20 days later it hasnt arrived at your door is NOT normal though.

So lets just hope it's only delayed, and not lost or stolen.
Shipping between two developed countries is usually not a problem.

Looks like it left the US on the 6th and it won't scan again. This kind of mail has an estimated arrival time of 10-30 days which makes it still in the estimated delivery window so there is no reason to think it would not arrive. Some cases it can even take longer depending on the efficiency of the receiving countries post.

Update: the custom host from Ehgemus arrived. along with a note from custom saying it was taken apart for inspection
i'm going to post my build latter today.

Glad it arrived safely and hopefully customs didn't screw anything up during inspection!

That's great. It should be fine since the only thing to take apart is to unscrew the tail cap.
