Issues with AR coated glass lens for 445

I will second that. I really like to use the old half threaded lenses over the new coated for 445 full threaded ones. More power and the same divergence.

@Electro have you noticed them changing up batches on you. The first batch I got from O-Like look just like the Aixiz lenses and then these came in the last order. They are slit on the end. Both batches have more power than the 445 Aixiz glass.

These are how the old ones looked.

Hey, if i remember correctly those look like the ones in the arctic now.

I found a Picture in another thread but not as clear.
Here you go, I would assume that they are the same lens. But its just a guess but i think it is form the same lens company.

It could be the same as the new lenses that O-Like has. They both have a slit going up the threads.

The lens for my 445 is for a RRGB projector I am building and so I want the cleanest possible "dot" and I am not really concerned about the power. Could you please direct me to where I can purchase one these good half-threaded AR coated lenses within the USA so I don't have to wait so long for shipping?

If you want to purchase within the USA, I think AixiZ still has them. Just be sure to specify "half-threaded 405nm" glass
