Hi all,
I've got this laser:
It doesn't have an key or on or switch - just turning the mains off and on operates it and I just wondered if there is any truth in what I read about it...
"If you are employing a DJ or company that will include a laser light show, make sure his/her lights are of professional grade. Using unreliable brands and lasers can be dangerous. Many of the non-professional grade lasers may lack the filters use to attenuate hazardous beams that give off dangerous levels of IR. In order to ensure that you are not exposing yourself or your guests to an eye damaging beam, you must inspect the laser yourself. If it doesn’t have a power or key switch, it is not a professional grade product and must not be used."
