Is my new Rayfoss 200mW green laser is broken?

Just out of curiosity send a e-mail asking to buy a new laser, don't mention this broken one, then if and when you get a reply send a message back asking them to fix the laser you have now before you buy a new one.

Try to trick them into answering or even replying so that you know it is not a error on your end.

Just an idea :D

Faona is back at work, answering all emails again. I'm sure if you ask again (politely) she will sort you out. They actually are a very reputable company.
Why is everybody so impatient? :tsk:

I requested to purchase a laser from another e-mail and they responded right away. When I told her who I was and refereed to my original order she never responded to me.

She isn't answering my e-mails and I have begged very politely for resolution and haven't heard a thing. I have to disagree that the are a reputable company.

Well I suppose it is official, rayfoss is now one of the 'bad' sites.... Shame, oh well, sites go bad all the time, I suppose someone should start a thread about them in the company section to help prevent noobs from getting stuck.

I don´t want to make a flame, make a rayfoss blame, it would be great shame, but I don´t need my laser being lame. Their lasers are so nice, as height of its price, so tell me now guys, is it worth to risk my money, from my wallet slice?

Sorry me, I´m only beginner :-)
need more and more inputs and references about rayfoss. There are these who like them, and the others :-) They should not exist, and I won´t fully believe rayfoss till they´ll be here saying something just gone wrong with their rayfoss lasere still without resolution, still without compensation from warranty.

Is there some similar company as rayfoss "was"?

CNI group buys, Wickedlasers, Dragonlsaers, Optotronics. All are good quality laser sellers.

Lvyilaser is crap, the same stuff that rayfoss sells. Stay away from them!

i'll do one now!

It was reply for another member, which just deleted his rhymy message (see my double post upper here. It was not double post till he did it.)

Just watched the guide for buying green laser once again (150x total maybe :-) ) and seen nice 150mW optotronic green pen-like laserpointer. Whoa! nice price indeed. If it could be 50-100mW more(for higher price) It could be amazing for me. Unfortunately, their higher powered products are quite pricey... And warranty 90days, its something I don´t understand to. In your country, it is 24 months!!!

So at this point in time, you sent your old laser back and have nothing right now.. and you can't get any response out of Rayfoss concerning the new laser.. correct?

Or, do you still have the not working unit?

I am not seeing exactly when you sent the laser back, but on 5-3 it looks like you posted "we can communicate and figure out why she has my $$$ and my broken laser which she isn't replacing." If she has had the laser since 5-3, and will not reply to you whatsoever, you should really consider opening a dispute with your credit card company and reverse the charges on Paypal for item not received. From my experience, Paypal is a joke with dispute resolution. Your own CC company will typically stand behind you.

If you reverse a charge on a paypal account you will get banned from paypal and have your account frozen. Make sure your paypal account is empty before attempting to reverse charges.

Good luck getting your working property or money back...

Just to let you know chinese customs for inbound mail is far worse then in the u.s.
The PRC has implemented a very strict inspection policy on any inbound parcel.
You have to remember, there looking for far more illegal items then in the U.S.
Did you fill out the proper forum? Did you pay for tracking?
Their is a good chance it is stuck in customs

Also IIRC the last time I sent package back to china, it took 25 days before it said delivered.

I know rayfoss has issues from time to time. Maybe even more then a few in the last few months.
But I would give her some more time.
Keep sending emails to her. Put "I will do a revers paypal" in the subject line. That should get her attention. If you still have not heard from her by Monday night then do what you have to do.

You only have 45 days to start a paypal dispute, make sure the time does not pass too long!
