Is it possible to replace ka5io projector light source?

Hi from Copenhagen

i have a ka5io slim projector without a light source module which I would like to get it working again.
Does anyone know if it is possible to obtain a spare light source module for it please? It seems a much pity to dispose of it as it is a very nice projector.

Tak, Laurens

AFAIK you can't buy just the emitting module because if you could then our scavengers wouldn't be buying entire projectors and ripping them apart for the insides.

Just so you know it isn't a good idea to post the company name spelled correctly since they have internet search algorithms which will target LPF. Please edit the name to something like Ka$Eo. There isn't a sticky on this because how would you say not to say something without actually saying it yourself.

I am confused. How does that help me get diodes. Them trying to get the diodeless projectors operational has not had any effect on me that I know of.:)

Thank you to all. there seem to be some happiness here.

If not available, does anyone think that high-power blue leds could work instead of the usual light source ?

Just though I would throw this out there that there is a great thread over @ PL that goes into all kinds of alternative light sources for this projector. Just in case you have not seen it before.:na:

Running the XJ-A140 With Missing Diodes

Just giving you some trouble. Too much to reading for you. I do know they go over using blue LED's.;)

EDIT

Here you I did some legwork for you. This post is the first talking about adding blue LED's.
