Hi, my name is Matt. Came looking for info regarding lasers and found your forum. I've been a part of ar15.com forums for over 20 years under the same name. I fix and repair night vision as a hobby and am blessed with a metcal so you know I got skills. I build all sorts of electric stuff so I hope I can help other members with basics but came here because I need help with understanding beemz better. I live in NV, which is like eastern California now.

First thing, safety glasses for 800nm-1200nm roughly. What pair is gtg?

Lasers are an addiction as well as laser meets (LEMs) you would enjoy-- there used to be some in SCal--
To make it easy to let you know when-- please add your location into yr profile AND edit this thread to add location in your intro's title.
Once it is there you will get 'welcomes' from others near your and NOT miss a LEM..otherwise there is pretty much no way to do this-
reading yr name and location is not enough---
Normally two threads the samer are not permitted--for this it is allowed (in case you cannot edit tittle just make a seconf intro--its allowed.

There are other LEMs on the West Coast as well-- these are 'ran' from the lasershow forum-- that is where you get info and where to sign up.
