I would also be interested if any are unclaimed, including those mostly broken ones SanKat was selling for $75. However, I really don't blame him for not wanting to do this again. That really was quite an ordeal.
 
Gah! I keep checking this thread like every 10 minutes to see if they shipped!!!


A part of me is just waiting to see what goes wrong next... ;D ;D
 
Senkat's in laser heaven.. he's got a boatload of these reds in finally, more diodes and an RPL to review.
 
Okay - ALL REDS ARE TESTED NOW ! YAY !!

BUT I am not out of the woods yet :( One was DOA...which I am rightly, and truly pissed at them for not checking EVERY one like they said they would :( There is NO way it got damaged in shipping - and I have sent off an email asking for them to cross ship (not too likely) a replacement. we will see what develops - in the mean time - they are all (minus the bad one) going out to their new owners tomorrow ! YAY !!

Boo for DOA lasers... That is not acceptable, especially after what happened before.

At least the ones that did work were up to spec!
 
I know the wait was worth it.. ;) I am so looking forward to mine..lol
 
SenKat I wish I had joined these boards sooner for one of these 200mW reds heh. I am still looking for a good deal on a laser. :P
 
I'm all excited now and hopefully it'll be here for the UK laser meet too :)
 
I wonder if they did the same as I did for my "broken" one to increase the power. There's a pot inside these to increase the power, It works nicely. :)
 
FWIW - these are all brand new units - none of the serials match up with the others....
