installing LASORB into the circuit

Ok so just to confirm since no one answered my second question, you connect it like this: (diode)==(lasorb) right? And you connect the wires from the driver just onto the soldered bridge part of the diode/lasorb?

AFAIK It's basically the same as putting a capacitor between the Diode leads to drain spikes before they reach the Die. You have to observe the polarity, and it would look to be parallel in a schematic.

Negative to Negative and Positive to Positive

Yep I understand that, but am I right about the wires from the diode part?

Heres a two second pic I made in paint

So Am I right about attaching wires to from the driver?

A lasorb is actually a shottky diode in one direction, a MLVDR cmos chip protection device, and a crowbar style voltage activated shunt device.
