im looking for a laser with the most burn for 100$






Well to find a local that builds them in MI you are very limited.
Im in the metro detroit area. (48331)
But mine are worth a little more than 100$ but they are 1W blues.
There may be one other builder in the grand rapids area Polished ball i think.
But what color and what current laser equipment do you have?
 
You can get a 400mw purple (violet) laser for $115. I may be interested in selling one of my IR lasers, but if you aren't used to handling lasers, I would not sell an IR laser to somebody new to the hobby.

You could buy an IR laser elsewhere, sure. But from my limited experience of lasers and understanding of the community here, there aren't many fans of IR lasers and even though the dot it produces is very very dim, it can burn pretty well.
 
well for 180$ you get, charger ,4 battery's, 405nm glass coated lens.
so you need nothing else but a common sense and safety equipment.
And if you are close you get the ability to see it burn and do what you want before you buy.
1W lasers are easy to make i also sell 1.5W or very close, some days i have had lasers go up or down around 9mw.
How ever going that strong is ill advised because you need to be very nice to them if you treat them wrong they can go quickly.

bigworm where do you live in mi. if i am not mistaken i may be the closest member to you.
If you are willing to go for a 500mw laser i have a price of 110$. i feel giving you 1w in the hands of a new member to be beyond my limit. further more 500mw will burn very well.
Also at 500mw it will last a very long time and be able to be run much longer than anything in the 1w or 2w area.

500mw will light a match almost instantly, easily pop a balloon, smoke wood, burn skin, burn plastic...
 
it burns alot of things.
Its hard to find things it wont burn.
basically just come down the 696 and get off at orchard.
its under a 30min drive. depending on where you live in warren.
Well it is up to you if you want to setup a time to take a look at them feel free.
