iLaze - possible?

yes by the way buy an extra ipod battery from DX, you may need it and never let the battery die out complletely it will ruin the battery. I do alot of repairs on ipod i even have a 3rd gen gutted ipod right here along with 4 mini's 3 nano's and 2 videos

Hey everyone, I haven't been on here in a while, I've been really busy with graduating high school, becoming an eagle scout, working etc. I got some money from all those and I may actually have enough now to be able to afford this thing. Is there anyone that could build this for me, give me a quote, etc? If not, does anyone have anything for sale with green and blu-ray, or just blu-ray?
Thanks!

This is my idea for a 1st gen iLaze:

I would like to rotate the silver backing 180° so that the firewire, LED aperture (former headphone jack) and Hold switch are at the bottom, and the laser apertures are on the top.  I would want the hold switch to just keep any lasers from being activated, and have the buttons click on click off.

EDIT: I live in the states, so I should probably work with someone in the states as well, unless someone builds this for me and thinks customs would just think it's a regular ipod...but they could also think it's a bomb...
I have no experience with buying high powered lasers and custom, so what do you guys think?

Really in a case like that it shouldnt be too hard. I would volunteer to do it for you, but I dont know how the iPod cases work. I only have a shuffle

yea, I wouldn't want the ipod to actually play music. i hate ipods i love my zune. so you'd get pretty much the entire area inside minus the small circuit board for controls, and the battery.

I'd like to do this myself, but I haven't the slightest idea how to make lasers. Is there any sort of "beginners tutorial" I could read to understand what components I would need and such?
Check my signature ;)

I've got a better idea. You know those first generation 30GB Zunes? Those have plenty of room inside...

ok so i think it's really funny i'm watching spiderman as you post that...anyways, i would really rather someone else build this for me as i don't think i should be starting off building something so complicated.

as far as i know, the ipod in the second diagram i made is the largest, and would work the best
