OK maybe not. Ill start out by saying Im a late '40 something' adult and not some kid looking to create havoc. I have plenty of low mw pointers and a couple of medium ones that are always fun. But its time to get serious. I want to burn stuff now

From everything I see and read, it looks like the best bang for the buck would be a 2W blue? Ive played with the wicked laser blue, but thats 1W or so. Its just on the edge of what I want for power, but would like more. It wasnt mine, but it seemed OK, was kind of sad to give it back. I see a few 1.2W and even 2W blue lasers around... just not sure which route to go. I wouldnt mind building my own with the right kit, I just dont want to get 30 parts from 30 places, Id like it get it all in one place. Price isnt really that big of a deal for the right kit.

Ive read and been told not to get from wicked, so Ill probably rule that out. Would love to hear suggestions!

Blues are decent enough 'burners', but a Violet (405nm) will do it better at range.

I'm 50 and destroying stuff is fun. I'm getting through a shitload of balloons each day.(I just can't help myself) Don't be ashamed...lol
