i think its that his friend turned the laser on without batteries in it and nothing happened. he never turned it off and when he put the batteries in it, the driver/diode got a jolt and now it doesnt work even though he used the recommended duty cycle?

Plus tard j'ai mis les batteries et le laser c'est allumer 1 fois puis 2 et puis j'ai compris le problème le bouton était sur ON.

Sachant que le laser doit être ON 60 secondes et OFF 60 secondes pour ne pas le casser je me demande si cela a causer des problèmes au laser ?

Car la batterie du laser n'a pas tenu une journée et je ne l'ai pas utiliser plus de 6 minutes en mode ON dans l'ensemble de la journée mais je pense que c'est peut être normal vue ça puissance. 1200Mw Blue laser

Alright so sounds like you are either having a problem with the power switch or wondering about duty cycles and if they are not followed, will the laser be harmed.

to answer the second question, yes. if you exceed the duty cycle (60 on/60 off) then the diode and driver will overheat and either of them can fail/die. i would stay inside the duty cycle.

if your problem is something with the power button then what exactly is happening?
