that sucks! mine lasted a total of 10 minutes!
i guess there aren't too many poor drivers where you live! lol

Pfft... if you've seen the drivers in Michigan (at least around Detroit), you'd know that's false! Toledo isn't much better either.

But, there's always going to be stupid people on the road wherever you go. Driving cautiously and paying attention to your surroundings will keep you out of trouble.

My tips for ANY driver (not really for passing your exam):
1. USE TURN SIGNALS! How the hell am I supposed to know you want to be in that lane? Especially when I am currently occupying it! Which leads to #2.

2. Look around (blind spots) before you freaking change lanes, ok? I may have a small vehicle, but that's not excuse for your ignorance!

3. Stop signs have the following rules: 1. STOP (not exactly rocket science here), 2. (if multi-way stop) pay attention to who stopped first. 3. Wait your damn turn! 4. When it IS your turn GO! (side note: When stopped at the same time, person to the right goes first.)

4. Get out of the passing lane when you're not actually passing. I like to go faster than you, so get out of my way! Thanks :)

I took 3 separate tests :'( one in Idaho one in Florida and one in Michigan (Detroit is a close second behind Palm Coast FL) at least here they stay on the road kinda to pass you, I've been passed by people running a red light while going through a ditch in florida :P

was anyone taught how to back up a trailor? My dad kind of taught me although i already knew what i was doing.

I had to learn on my own, it's hard when you have to back the trailer in, around tree's with a manual tranny truck or get a boat out of the water or anything like that at first but you get used to it :D

i had to back a 12 inch diesel pump into a shed with a very large dodge ram 3500. there was not much room because there was a large camper in the shed also. it was so close i had to fold the mirrors in. it wasn't fun. it took about 15 minutes with the help of a few coworkers.

try backing a 20ft 5th wheel into a garage just barely big enough to fit it .5 inches on the left .5 on the right and 2 inches up top with a 77 ford F150 custom 4 speed on the floor ;)

oh ya well i can parallel park a stick shift car on a 99% grade with one hand
stick shift shouldn't even be a part of that if you are going to try and impress us ;) most of us drive stick like it's nothing...well I'm one of the few that can drive stick here because people are lazy but o well :P

I plan on driving a manual. Most people I know say it's more responsive and more fun. The rest are too lazy to use one and don't see the point.

plus better gas mileage and the car will last longer (depending, of course, on how you drive)

Or they don't have a choice (like me) :-/
