I AM NEWB. Don't know where to solder leads...

I am putting together a 1.75w 445nm laser build and i am looking for a driver. I found one here, dut i don't know where to solder leads to go to the diode:

I am using this host:

C6 DIY Cree LED Flashlight Full Casing/Shell with Driver Pill (2*CR123A/1*18650) - Free Shipping - DealExtreme

Any help or advice would be helpful, however, my budget is strict so please don't recomend anything more expensive.

see where it says LD+ and LD- ? LD means laser diode

Also, you think this driver will work for a m140 diode @ 1.5-1.75w?

it will work but keep an eye on the driver temperature, i recall someone emailing techhood about high currents and they said it needed a heatsink above a certain current, ill see if i can dig up the thread on it.

What are you going to set the current at?

Funny how they put "ve" on the end of the symbols. It's redundant (positive've, negative've) or just sounds wrong (plus've, minus've).

Make sure the C6 brass ring don't short the components on the driver. Only battery negative should touch the ring.
