Awesome mod none the less, but it looks liek you removed the power level sticker, makign the laser illegal! *sarcastic gasp* lol Mine was used so lightly that only hte end is flaking, when I get my new batteries if it gets worse I'm gonna try this mod...

fun thought though... why not 'buff' it in circles to make a brushed-metal texture instead? just a thought.

why is that center section still black? I'm assuming that is the plastic area where the two peices connect together.
