I've got 200 1kv diodes I need to solder into a bridge rectifier at some point
ps: PED I know some guys up Liverpool way who have used spares kicking about for the same reasons, want me to ask them? I also have more bits (when I dig round the junkpile) what sort of stuff you looking for my friend?
The chances of them arriving in one piece are close to zero Truss
The UK postal service is that bad that no UK supplier will send tubes by post anymore, they all do delivery by own transport.
A 60 watt PSU on an 80 watt tube will go bang
I'll ask my courier what US post is like but I don't hold out much hope.
Henry,
Found the PSU, just gotta find the mounts now and take some pics to post
cheers
Dave

That would be great.
Just a small setup? 40w (ish or more) and suitable psu.
Regards
Nice! I've run my 40W tube from a 30kV 25mA NST
they are just literally kicking around
I've never seen a NST over 15kV, and current is usually 30mA or 60mA as far as I know. Are you sure you're remembering that right? If so, please share

Man I'd give an arm and a leg for a 100-150W RECI tube
