My understanding is that a greenie Herc taking 3 D cells will not fit easily into a shirt pocket. How does one lug it around - any one gotten a holster of a sling for one from anywhere or found one designed for something else that works for it? As for the inevitable "why would you want to lug it around? Just get a smaller one", let's just leave it at I want to have the capability.

If you see a pic of an RPL lined up next to a Herc the difference is insane. The gym bag might not be the worst idea

This should work, as long as you modify it to not interfere with the sidebutton (maybe a leather shop could cut a slot in it and stitch it, or???)
Your Herc should come with a nice case, that's always the best protection for a $3k laser, IMHO
