Good ol' Meredith Instruments!!! I got my first decent HeNe from Dennis so many years ago, I'm ashamed to say it. I tried to build my own with a new tube but a really crappy (forgive me :-[) surplus Bausch and Lomb power supply. This thing used an automotive ignition coil! If memory serves, the laser fired but was intermittent. I sent it to Dennis to have a look at and he exchanged it for a working Metrologic lab laser that I still have. :o Nice guy!!! Thanks again Dennis.
If any of you remember their catalogs, then you'll also remember (besides the great deals) they were also as funny as the video.
I'm glad this company is still in business!
