Is the inside of the host anodized?

You might sneak in an Imr 18350 with the plastic cut off. That will give you 5.6A.

Aside from that id say just do a few tests outside (on video ) with an Imr 16340 to see just how high current you can draw from it. :eg:

I bet you can get 10C just fine.

Have you incorporated your c-mounts into anything yet?

If having it portable isn't a problem I guess you could just hook it up to your PSU with clamps or something.

I'm still waiting on the MODC modules from Pontiac. Really hoping to hear some good news about them being finished though Dying to try out these "7W" diodes.

I've got a labby C-Mount host en route to test them in also.
