does anybody know if hightechdealz is legit?
im looking into buying a heatsink and a host for an upcomming build.
I figured I'm not buying anything that has the "up to spec" factor so that end of the question is covered, but has anyone bought and recieved their item from this site?

Yeah it's legit !!!! I've ordered stuff from there. The packaging is good and shipped out pretty quick. I received it around a week later (over the pond)

I purchased items from them and received exactly what was ordered and fast shipping. I believe it is ran by a member of LPF. I still cannot find a list of LPF members who run websites.........I'd like to see this in a single post, updated and it may exist. I just cannot find it.

from what i have seen/heard they are good, a friend of mine bought some flashlights off them for a fair price and got them with a week and they work fine

I have spent way too much money from that site. Everything is fairly good, except one time I ordered a 6x diode with leads and the diode pins were soldered together, but other than that all good.

I ordered a few 5mw modules from HTDz along with an LPC sled. The shipping was ridiculously fast coming from Texas. I am planning to buy a 445nm diode from there.

Yes, but he admitted that was a mistake on his part. (at that time i didn't feel comfortable soldering a diode) Never got a refund or anything though. I still have that diode in a parts box, i ended up getting a properly soldered 6x from a member.
