Hi,
I am new to the laser comunity. I have alwasy wanted to have a high power laser and now I just got my entry level laser. Probably a joke of a laser for most of you but it is for sure a nice way to start for me.
I just got a chinese Ultrafire green laser power well I really don't know but it was sold for a 500mw ( so probably 50:cryyy anyhow I tested it out the window to see how far away i could spot the light and I have to say that I was pretty impressed with the result. I had a slight reflection of the light beam at about 3.7 Km.
Now I am hooked and will be purchasing a high power laser from some forum member soon.
Since I don't care particularely to burn things up, and my main object is to have the strongest visible beam, I asume ( from what I have read so far ) that the green laser should be the best option.
Now the question, what is a good power for a green laser? I know that blue lasers can go from 2W to 3W easy... but greens?
