This seems like a cool bunch of people, so I think this will be an informative place to learn. I have been obsessed with lasers since I worked on a tv show called Babylon 5 as an alien and they gave me a laser. (that's me in the profile picture) to act like i was performing surgery. The laser was probably <5mW, wut I couldn't believe I could make a dot on the wall accross the room! That was the coolest thing. Little did I know about green lasers! I'm on my 3rd one, now and it is all kinds of awesome (Optotronics 150mW). Anyway great to be here.
