Only just realized i should of started here before posting :p

I'm from Birmingham UK, only recently became interested in lasers after seeing what they can do during a stargazing seesion a few weeks back.

Hope to aquire something decent to fire at the stars.

Welcome! I'm new as well and just bought a 181mW custom build (see link in my signature). It's definitely amazing how the beams from these lasers are so clearly visible in the night sky--even more visible than I thought it would be. :D

I hope you find your way to a powerful green laser! they have a low beam diameter and divergence and are the brightest wavelength to the human eye! pick your self up a viper 55mW at dragonlasers(Dawt)com

Welcome to the forum. Stargazing with a laser makes for neat pointing out celestial targets, but I bet if you stick around here long enough, your definition of laser use will evolve into new horizons. :)

Have a blast and be safe!
