HAHA that's your decision. M140 wins power, but loses on beam specs. There's some things we can only help with but cant give answers
There is not much appreciable difference in the beam profile of the two diodes once focused to infinity. The M140 is cheaper and I think this is the winner here.
The power might drop with just one cell. You're better off with a couple 16340 or 18350.
Get this instead. It's the same host but without the emitter and it's cheaper.

Two 16340 or 18350 will work. Just make sure you get unprotected 18350 so that they will fit. Max battery length that fits the C6 is around 70mm.

As for the charger, the Nitecore i2 and i4 are solid choices.
Those are iffy cells. I suggest you get an Efest IMR 18350 instead.
Ultrafire, trustfire and all other fires out there are like generics. Everyone uses them.
The cells I suggested are IMR. This chemistry is inherenty safe. They don't catch on fire or explode if mishandled.
