Help with Blu ray laser and driver.

Again, is there some easy way to take the diode out of a crappy module...don't care if i break the lens, but without damaging the diode? The diode is not in all the way in the module but i try to tug on it with pliers an it doesn't come out.

What kind of "crappy module" are you asking about?

Never mind, I was finally able to use pliers and get it out.
