help w/ pm's

I've read and searched to no avail, but my sent messages and pm folder won't hold my old pms or new one's for that matter is there a setting I'm not getting... in the old forum it was able to tell me if someone read the sent message. Any help would be appreciated. Than you in advanced. Jander.

When I get PMs, it says it in the top right where it says "Welcome, You last visited...".

there is a setting for this that needs to be enabled in usercp-options
