Hi im new to the laser technology and how they all work. I recently brought a 300mw green laser to play around with to pop and burn things but since realised how dangerous they can be to the eyes. Here is the laser I purchased
eBay.com.sg: 300mW Professional SKY Green Laser Pointer Pen 2009 ! (item 370243605924 end time Oct 10, 2009 06:58:56 SGT)
Ive been recommended to buy arg filter glasses but they are £97 in the UK I was just wondering is this a good price and is there anything else I should be aware of that is a danger?
Here is the site im buying mine from they suggested the arg filter
Laser Goggles - Picosecond and Femtosecond Lasers and High Power Pulses
and im going to choose the style 35 frame
http://www.scitec.uk.com/laser_eyewear/stylach.php
They originally quoted £107 but then got 10% dicount they say they are cheapest in UK. I wanna make sure I get good quality you only have one pair of eyes which is why im worried. Ive also been told to worry about IR because some lasers dont have the filter and this can damage your eys because its an invisible beam:s
:thanks:
Thanks guys
carl
