Help picking out Green Laser-Rayfoss.com

Yes, you could use it with a Just Add Diode kit...with one caveat; You will likely have to press that diode into a module, solder wires on, and then connect it to your driver. Now, you're talking about a full on build.

JAD kits typically have drivers included with them, and let you drop a pre-pressed diode/module into the host and solder to the driver. If your diode is bare, you have to take care of that first.

Sounds like more work than I was hoping haha, thanks for the info!

Sure thing. You can just send out that diode as thanks. lol

Haha, I'm not even sure how good the diodes are from the original PS3?
I might even send it off to you to make a build ;) I doubt I'll ever get round to it! I cant even find my soldering iron to disconnect it at the moment!

I haven't de-sleded one of these diodes yet. But, hey..if you're willing to ship it to me, I'll extract it, research it, and fire it up on my PSU. It shouldn't be hard to learn all I need to about this diode.
