So today I was given a LPM by the owner of my work. He also have me ALOT of laser optics and told me that they are all extremely high end optics....but anyways this LPM he have me...I have no idea if it's of decent quality or not and I have yet to test it because I need to buy a power supply for it and don't wanna invest money in one unless it's worth the gamble of possibly having a decent LPM. So how is the quality of this LPM.

I don't know about the LPM but Ophir is a renounced company. Did you search the Ophir site for info ?

Ophir is lab grade quality, definitely worth restoring. The sensor looks to be in ok condition as well.

By the date it was calibrated, and the size of the sensor, it's probably not for anything too high powered

Get in touch with Ophir to find out more about that sensor.

Make sure you have your boss's information.

Many of the better companies out there, are fantastic when it comes to support, so it's possible they can restore it for you, without exorbitant fees.

Also all the optics I was given are fully labeled as far as coating and specs. Do you think it's worth selling them on here? They can from a high power research lab. Some are still sealed in their original bag.

Yeah, the could be worth selling here, most people here don't need high transmission lab optics though, so sales may be slow.

I just don't know what things are worth...like I have prisms that are 90.001 degrees...never been opened and are about 1inch long...I have a box labeled beam combiners...and stuff like that. Any rough estimate on value? I was prolly gunna price stuff between 20 and 40 $ a piece...is that low?

20-40$ is about the right price, more or less depending on the optic, coatings and size. If you can give more information on the optics I can tell you more about what they are worth, sned me a PM if you want

Here's what I have.
